  EVENT INFORMATION
Helpful Notes: Walkers will start in waves in their allocated time slot. Meet at the car park for Papamoa Hills Culture and Heritage Park, on Poplar Lane. We will walk on the formed track up to the summit, then along the narrow track through fields to Summerhill Farm on Reid Road. The walk is approximately 6km, on a dirt track surface, it may be slippery if wet and it may be wet! We estimate the walk will take approximately 1 hour. A reasonable standard of agility and fitness required, if you are unsure or unfamiliar with the area, please check with us before entering.

You need warm clothing, preferably polypropylene, a wool or fleece hat, waterproof jacket, walking shoes with good grip, and a torch with fresh batteries.

Minivans will transport walkers from Summerhill Trails back to their cars on Poplar Lane.

We have set up wave starts from 6pm - early starts will be female walkers only, later starts are open entry for mixed groups. Numbers for each wave start are limited so register your group quickly to have the same start time.

There are NO entries on the night for safety reasons. If you are entering more than one person, please make sure you enter EACH person's name, as we need individuals on our master sheet for sign in and out safety procedures.

All participants will receive a cup of coffee and piece of cake at the Mongolian Ger, which has great views over the city on a fine night. :)
