The event base, plus start finish area is on the fields adjacent to the Observatory in One Tree Hill - entrance to the park is off Manukau Rd. Participants run /walk up to the peaks and check in at a number Aucklands iconic volcanoes, in any order that they choose.This is the only event in the world that enables competitors to take in the rich heritage of spectacular and diverse multiple volcanic landforms in a fun and energetic way.This is a mid-winter event that has grown significantly with runners keen for the thrill of combining endurance and navigation.
